Derek also served as the director of the By-Health Public Affairs Center in Tomson. 李凯博士曾任深圳市福田区投资推广署（金融发展事务署）副署长、深圳市互联网金融协会副秘书长兼研究部负责人、深圳市前海深港现代服务业合作区管理局金融创新处主任，证监会资本市场学院教育培训部培训专员，高盛-浙大-牛津巾帼圆梦万名女性创业能力开发项目效能评估专员，AMBA组织中国高校MBA项目国际认证助理等职务。
李凯博士曾在深圳证券交易所博士后工作站从事博士后研究，拥有浙江大学管理学院企业管理博士学位，英国雷丁大学亨利商学院国际管理硕士学位和浙江大学计算机学院计算机科学与技术学士学位。
