Sustainability and Global Citizenship is not only becoming a nice thing for students, teachers, schools and the education sector to do, but a core enhancement of an education offering both in China and abroad. This session is designed for any and every educator, those working in education and parents of school-aged children and keen to see what is being done, and what ambitions exist, to make significant contributions to sustainability and global citizenship in the education sector. There will be a particular focus on education in China and from a pre-tertiary education perspective but relevant to anyone with an interest in education, sustainability and global citizenship. A couple of key topics and concepts covered will include global citizenship education, ESG (Environment, Social & Governance) , carbon mapping and supporting ideas for impact.This seminar will help you understand.
