Manager, Policy & Advocacy Harry leads the policy work in the Chamber, including responsibility for our flagship policy papers and our outreach with the UK government. Prior to joining the Chamber in 2023 Harry spent 6 years working in public affairs supporting clients to understand policy developments in the UK, EU and China.

Jeremy Sargent OBE is a seasoned China lawyer and entrepreneur with over 20 years' experience living and working in China. He is a fluent Mandarin speaker who completed his first degree in Chinese at Leeds University in the UK. In 2009 Jeremy established "The Happy Monk", a gastro pub concept in Guangzhou in 2009, which has grown to become an award-winning brand in the hospitality industry, with a team of 180 employees operating five busy downtown locations. In 2019  he obtained his executive MBA Degree from a joint programme offered by Columbia University Business School, London Business School and Hong Kong University Business School. In 2012 Jeremy was awarded an OBE by Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of his services on behalf of British businesses and legal services in China.

Kitty has over 18 years experience in recruitment industry, from a biller to management role, with comprehensive knowledge in Retained Based Executive Search, Contingency Based Recruitment, the coordination and management of Bound Recruitment Project, Talent Dispatch and etc.

Kitty has in-depth understanding of the recruitment industry. In the past 18 years, she has serviced aboard range of foreign multinationals and well-known local enterprises in Southern China covering various functions, e.q: Information & Technology, Accountancy & Finance, Technical, Human Resources Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering and etc.

Before joining KPMG, Kitty worked in a global specialist recruitment group for nearly 7 years successfully developed both Guangzhou and Shenzhen offices from scratch to profitable businesses in short period of time, assisted large amount of clients' solve various talent acquisition issues.

Mr. Shen passed PRC bar examination in 1988, he has been in legal practice for more than 35 years. From 1995 to 1996, Mr. Shen was under the Training Program for Young Chinese Lawyers (later re-named as “the Lord Chancellor’s Training Program for Young Chinese Lawyers”) in London and Hong Kong where he studied at SOAS of University of London, and was placed at an English solicitors’ firm, and later at a barrister chamber for professional training. Mr. Shen’s practice covers a wide range of PRC law sectors as maritime, international trade, corporate and commercial law and etc. with a special focus on foreign related dispute resolution matters at different levels of PRC courts, PRC arbitration commissions, cross border court and arbitration proceedings in HK, Singapore, London, South Africa, USA and other jurisdictions. He is invited to act as expert witness and give PRC law opinions to foreign courts or foreign arbitration tribunals from time to time. Mr. Shen is also a frequent speaker on PRC law issues at forums and seminars in different countries.
