Sarah Mann took up her post as Consul-General Guangzhou in June 2023. She leads the UK government’s engagement in the provinces of Guangdong, Fujian, Guangxi, Hainan, Hunan and Jiangxi in South China. Sarah joined the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in 2008 and has worked on a range of countries and issues including the UN, energy security and human rights.

Her first posting was as Second Secretary in Colombo, Sri Lanka after which she returned to London as Secretary to the FCDO Board of Management in the office of the Permanent Under-Secretary. Most recently Sarah served as British Deputy High Commissioner to Uganda from 2017 to 2020. She has also served in the British High Commission in Fiji and the UK’s Mission to the UN in New York.

Keith Buckley, MBE, is the Chairman of BritCham Macau has been involved since its establishment in 2006. A Civil Engineer by background, he has lived in Macau for twenty-one years and has been responsible for the construction management of Sands Macao, The Venetian, Four Seasons, Sands Cotai Central and The Parisian. and was involved in the Londoner. In 2017 he established his own company BCA (Macau) Limited and was involved in the Londoner Project.

Keith is also Chairman of the construction charity – Lighthouse Club Macau and Vice Chairman of Lighthouse Club International. He was born in Germany where he lived for eighteen years and then studied and worked in the UK. He has worked and lived, for 50 years, in Macau, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Turkey, Egypt, Iraq, Poland, the Netherlands and Switzerland and has been responsible for construction projects in the Maldives, Vietnam, the Philippines and Thailand.

Jeremy Sargent OBE is a seasoned China lawyer and entrepreneur with over 20 years' experience living and working in China. He is a fluent Mandarin speaker who completed his first degree in Chinese at Leeds University in the UK. In 2009 Jeremy established "The Happy Monk", a gastro pub concept in Guangzhou in 2009, which has grown to become an award-winning brand in the hospitality industry, with a team of 180 employees operating five busy downtown locations. In 2019  he obtained his executive MBA Degree from a joint programme offered by Columbia University Business School, London Business School and Hong Kong University Business School. In 2012 Jeremy was awarded an OBE by Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of his services on behalf of British businesses and legal services in China.

Tina Tu is based in the Special Economic Zone of Shenzhen, where she manages CBBC South China team, including government affairs, research and event projects, as well as other member activities in South China. Tina covers the technology & innovation sector nationwide in CBBC, and is highly experienced in working across various interdisciplinary projects and cross regions.

Tina Tu started her career as a member of academic team in the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen. She then worked for Hong Kong
Productivity Council serving induatrial clients and local government.

Tina Tu is currently a MPA candidate in Tsinghua University. She holds a LLM in International Business Law and Transactions (CEPMLP), University of Dundee, and a bachelor’s degree of Economics in International Economics and Trade from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics.

Tommy is the government relations director for Prudential plc. He joined Prudential in 2019 and has been leading the group’s public policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement activity in the region. He also serves as the chair of the China Committee at the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the co-chair of the Insurance Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

Prior to Prudential, Tommy held several senior roles at Bupa in public affairs and strategic planning for four years, including China Chief Representative. Prior to Bupa, Tommy was the public affairs lead for Pernod Ricard Asia with extensive coverage of issues related to international trade, tariff and tax, and technical regulations across over 18 markets.

Tommy holds a master’s degree in economics from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, USA. He is based in Hong Kong and previously lived in China, the US and Canada.
