Agile is transforming the way we work; it has already transformed the IT industry. Due to its success other industries and government organisations have also started to transform their organisations to become more agile with many already adopting parts of Agile or Agile thinking for the last 20 years. Agile frameworks such as Scrum that were originally adopted in IT departments are now being scaled up and rolled out across all departments of other industries. Agile adoption across Fortune 100 organisations is already advanced and 70% of organisations claim to have implemented SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
In this demo, we will look at the origins of Agile and the drivers and secrets behind its success. Agile has its roots in the manufacturing industry in Japan and many Lean principles and methods, such as Kanban have been adopted and can be applied to other industries to help improve operational performance. During this sharing we will introduce the basic concepts of Agile frameworks, such as Scrum & Kanban, and how they can be applied to help you manage Agile transformation in your organisation. Our aim is to offer inspiration for the catalyst of change to help your organisation stay competitive in today's ever-changing world.
