For many years and across leadership professionals Coaching is recognised as one of the most powerful and effective techniques used in management - with leadership expert Jack Welch, ex-CEO of GE quoting, "people who are coaches will be the norm, people who don't coach won't get promoted". In China coaching is being adopted more and more, however one does not need to invest all time and money into becoming a qualified coach to effectively manage their people & projects. Coach camp for Managers focuses uniquely on management problems by approaching them through tried and tested coaching techniques; each camp is carefully designed to focus on one technique to solve a management problem.
One of the most challenging conversations for a manager is delivering performance feedback. However using the coaching approaches in this camp will ask the team members to completely recognise and own areas of development and focus on strength in raising performance.
This camp focuses on supporting your team member through solving problems:
- Understand the core principals of an effective coaching manager
- Use coaching funnel questions to support team members to completely recognise and own areas of development
- Learn and apply a coaching technique which identified attributes that help team members focus on strengths that raise performance
- Guided peer coaching, with reflection on outcome based resolutions
