l am Adiona, the wellness and inclusion specialist at Foshan EtonHouse International School. With a Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Medicine Tirane Albania and a Master of Science in Behavior and Social Change Communication from the University of Social Science Tirane, Albania. I possess a strong foundation in effective communication.
My passion for supporting and empowering others has been a driving force throughout my career. In my role, am dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.
Outside of work, I find joy in indulging in various hobbies, including singing, reading, and practicing yoga and meditation.

With 10+ years experiences in SENCO, Kirsten is specialised in challenging behaviour accompanying Downs Syndrome, ASD, and deaf children (PMLD). She will discuss the common Maths problems in SEN, focusing on the difficulties and how to get started.

As a postgraduate in Psychology, I decided to start my career in Early Years education as a classroom teacher. Whilst teaching in London, I became a qualified SENDCo and have over 6 years experience in this role. I am now the Deputy Head of Prep at King's School International Shenzhen (KSS) and oversee the pastoral and inclusion support we provide our pupils.

Title: Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND): Where are we up to and what next?

The contents of my presentation will cover general SEND; introducing the topic as a whole and moving onto focusing on current difficulties, more specifically in China. I will then briefly outline common SEND structures in the UK and how this looks at KSS, in the hope that this can be helpful to other institutions on their journey to being inclusive.
